Binchōtan' Coffee Table bowl. Hand coiled.
The shape of this piece is natural, simplistic, minimal and imperfect. It is both functional and decorative with a graceful finish in deep black, like Japanese charcoal. The bowl is decorated with a black slip reminiscent of volcanic rock. Dark and dry with a purity and presence of it's own.
